With over two decades of accounting experience, Maryam Royaei has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership at the "C-Suite" level within the Real Estate Finance, Asset Management, and Accounting verticals. Her expertise lies in effectively managing internal and external teams and relationships, understanding the unique dynamics of managing multi-million-dollar portfolios.
Over her career, Maryam has honed expertise in risk management, financial analysis, reporting, HR, internal control systems, investor relations and capital deployment. Before joining IMG, Maryam served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Wilshire Capital Partners, a distinguished real estate investment company specializing in multifamily and office properties. During her tenure, Maryam played a pivotal role in managing and optimizing a portfolio exceeding $250 million in assets.
Maryam's ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and implement strategic financial planning contributes significantly to IMG's corporate accounting policies supporting the firm's continued growth and success.
Maryam has an Associate in Arts Degree from Santa Monica College.
What's on your travel bucket list?
When I travel, I love to pick locations that are sunny and where I can be by the water. My travel bucket list definitely has Bora Bora and Greece as the top two places to go.
What's the best place to be when you aren't working?
If I am not at work, you can always find me at the beach. I feel most at peace driving on PCH and finding a spot to pull over to walk down to the water.
What is your favorite food?
I love all types of asian foods, but if I were to be specific, it would be sushi, albacore sashimi drizzled with ponzu and sriracha, and garnished with cilantro, sesame seeds and crispy onions.
