IMG Supports The Heart Foundation 2023 Award Dinner
Dana Carvey was presented with the prestigious Steven S. Cohen Humanitarian Award at the June 17th event in Beverly Hills supporting The Heart Foundation’s mission to save lives from heart disease.
Woodland Hills, CA— June 18, 2023— On June 17th, The Heart Foundation orchestrated an intimate evening in Beverly Hills to raise awareness and gather support for their vital mission of saving lives in the battle against heart disease.
A highlight of the remarkable dinner event was the presentation of the highly acclaimed Steven S. Cohen Humanitarian Award to the multi-talented comedian, actor, impressionist, screenwriter, podcaster, and producer, Dana Carvey. The Heart Foundation’s decision to honor Carvey with this esteemed award was a testament to his outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication to encouraging others to join the fight against heart disease.
The program featured musical entertainment by famed musician, songwriter, composer, producer, and recording artist David Foster and singer, songwriter, and actress Katharine McPhee. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration and collective action in addressing the global health crisis of heart disease. Funds raised during the awards dinner will significantly aid in furthering the organization’s mission to combat heart disease, a leading cause of death worldwide.

Cohen Humanitarian Award was established to recognize individuals who effect change within their communities and demonstrate a commitment to the betterment of humankind. The Heart Foundation believes that these special individuals embody the spirit of Steven Cohen and deserve to be honored with the award that bears his name.
