Teeing Up for Impact: IMG Supports The Heart Foundation’s 2025 Golf Classic

Woodland Hills, CA— November 17, 2025 — The Sherwood Country Club welcomed supporters of The Heart Foundation for this year’s Galpin Motors Golf Classic, an annual tournament presented by 1st Century Bank. Neil Schimmel, IMG Founder and CEO, joined fellow participants and longtime supporters to advance The Heart Foundation’s mission of reducing the impact of heart disease through education, early detection, and research.

IMG was pleased to take part once again and contributed as a hole sponsor, continuing the company’s long-standing commitment to causes that strengthen community health and awareness.

Following a full day on the course, attendees gathered for an evening reception featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a dinner buffet. The program also included silent and live auctions, offering guests the chance to bid on specialty items and support the Foundation’s work.

The Galpin Motors Golf Classic continues to shine a light on the importance of heart-health advocacy and community involvement. Proceeds from the event support The Heart Foundation’s initiatives and the innovative research conducted at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai under the leadership of P.K. Shah, M.D.
