IMG’s Karlin Conklin wins Connect CRE Women in Real Estate Award
Woodland Hills, CA— October 17, 2022— Connect CRE, a national news leader delivering daily coverage on commercial real estate transactions and trends, today announced that Karlin Conklin has been selected as a winner of the 2022 Connect CRE Women in Real Estate Awards.
The mission of the annual awards program is to highlight inspirational women with outstanding achievements who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others in the commercial real estate industry.
From hundreds of national submissions, winners were selected from ten U.S. regions: Washington, DC., New York/Tri-State, New England, Gulf Coast, Atlanta/Southeast, Chicago/Midwest, Texas, Phoenix/Southwest, Seattle/Northwest and California.
At IMG, Karlin Conklin serves as Principal, Co-President and COO. In the past 12 months, Karlin’s strategic vision and leadership helped IMG reach over $300 million in multifamily transactional volume, adding over 1,000 units to the firm’s national portfolio.

Karlin has specialized in company leadership and innovative new industry startups for over three decades. She has sourced, capitalized and helped in the repositioning of over 20,000 multifamily units raising nearly a billion in equity from institutional partners, Tenant in Common investors and high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to founding IMG’s Portland office, Karlin held multiple high-powered positions in operations, sales and marketing. She was an award-winning multifamily broker for nearly 15 years generating nationally ranked annual sales volumes. In the 1990s, Karlin served as the Director of the Lindquist Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon where she earned an MBA degree, taught marketing and entrepreneurship courses and helped shape a new generation of business leaders.
