DAVE MIKKELSEN

Chances are if you’ve invested with us you’ve worked with Dave. As our investor relations leader, Dave works with investors and related third-parties throughout the syndication cycle and communicates transaction updates and investment performance.
Dave has participated in the acquisition, financing, syndication and brokerage of more than $1 billion in multifamily real estate across the United States. Before joining IMG, Dave held senior positions in real estate investment acquisition, syndication, and client relations.
With PNC Real Estate and Boston Financial, he worked with institutional clients investing in multifamily real estate funds. With Guardian Real Estate Services, he guided syndication and brokerage activities for more than $600 million in multifamily real estate on behalf of Tenant in Common (TIC) investors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional partners such as GE Capital, Morgan Stanley, and Broadreach Capital.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and carries real estate licenses in Oregon and Washington.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Art classes. The ceramics segment from art class in 5th grade was a highlight. It was one of my most productive periods and the year our teacher warned that thick pieces of clay would explode like bombs in the kiln.
What’s a fun fact about you that only your friends and family know?
I earned the prestigious white belt with yellow stripe in taekwondo. I was also awarded “most improved bowler” in college in my bowling class.
