NAA Conference brings 10,000 apartment industry professionals to Denver

IMG’s active engagement on asset and property management trends recognized with attendance at NAA’s 2019 Apartmentalize Conference in Denver

Apartmentalize, hosted by the National Apartment Association, is a multifamily industry premier event bringing together top thought leaders and trendspotters from across the U.S.

IMG Founder-CEO Neil Schimmel represented Investors Management Group at the June 26-28 conference in Denver, joining over 10,000 apartment industry professionals.

Apartmentalize is the largest show in the property management industry featuring more than 60 education sessions led by expert panelists and 500+ product and service vendors. Breakout session topics include Operations, Emergency Preparedness, Fair Housing, Industry Trends, Technology and Marketing.

Upon multifamily asset acquisition, IMG oversees all aspects of the property operations including annual budgeting, contract negotiations, renovation oversight, investor reporting, market analysis, and disposition management.

Asset management is poised to occupy an even greater than usual place in the minds of real estate investors and property operators in the years ahead. As the ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Report 2019 emphasized, “It is not that asset management is ever unimportant. But in a period when transaction velocity is easing and when owners worry about reinvestment risk in the event of a sale, the ability to extract additional value from their existing portfolio is an important way to tick yields in the right direction.”
