Christian Kaylor with the Oregon Employment Department reports that the Portland, Oregon region added over 35,000 jobs since Sept 2016.
Additionally, “The US Census released 2016 data from the American Community Survey this month, a tremendous amount of economic data. Median household income grew by an impressive 20% in the city of Portland since 2010. Much of this income growth can be attributed to the 39,398 jobs created in the city of Portland that pay more than $75,000 a year. Full time jobs in the city of Portland pay an average of $67,608, more than any of the other larger towns in the region.”
